Oglethorpe, Ga. Sailed for France, Brest, March 30, 1918. Promoted to rank of Capt. Feb. 27, 1919. Entered as 1st Lt. Fought at Aisne-Marne, St. Mihiel and Meuse-Argonne. Detached service, Base No. 9; Evacuation Hospital No. 6. Served with Army of Occupation at Coblenz, Germany, from Dec. 20, 1918, to July 28, 1919. Returned to USA Aug. 17, 1919.
