Mayo Cemetery, Edgecomb County, North Carolina

The cemetery is located about a mile off Roberson School Road on the right. It is located in a woods with a old metal iron fence around it. Take Hwy 11 north from Bethel and turn off on Roberson School Rd to the left. First house on the right is the Mayo homeplace, bear left. To the left side of the front yard is a single grave. Take the path to the woods to locate the other graves. To the left of the fenced area is other scattered graves. Mostly sunk in and one cement slab and wooded markers.
