Transferred to Boston, Mass. Sailed for France June 4, 1917. Promoted to Corpl. Aug. 4, 1917, to Sergt. July, 1918. Fought at St. Quentin, Kimmel, Belgium, Bellicourt. Has British M. M. and American D. S. C. Mustered out at Camp Jackson, S. C., April 17, 1919.
