Wright Todd7, (David6, Abraham5, Abraham4, Jonah3, Samuel2, Christopher1) born Feb. 14, 1798, died April 12, 1875, married in 1819, Betsey Denike, who died Jan. 17, 1876. Her father came to this country with the British Army during the Revolutionary war. He deserted and was afterwards a gardener on Long Island.
Mr. Todd was a man of considerable native ability, inheriting the characteristics of a long line of worthy ancestors. He spent his long life at farming and besides he always took an active interest in public affairs. In 1826, he moved to Greece, Genesee County, N. Y., having purchased there a farm of eighty acres.
