Lemuel Todd7, (Jehiel6, Stephen5, Stephen4, Samuel3, Samuel2, Christopher1) born Jan. 19, 1782, died June 23, 1851, married March 1, 1804, Sarah, daughter of Gillis and Sarah (Wright) Frink, who was born Aug. 28, 1781, in Springfield, Mass., died March 16, 1876. Both died and were buried in Toddsville, N. Y.
On his gravestone is the following inscription, which is said to be strictly true:
“No eulogy is needed on this stone,
Where’er his name, there were his virtues known.”
