Curtis Alan Coles, 47, a former Baker City resident, died Nov. 17, 2000, at his home in Wenatchee, Wash. His memorial service was Saturday at the Grandview Cemetery in La Grande. Pastor Beuford Belcher officiated. Mr. Coles was born on Jan. 15, 1953, to William J. and Norma I. Snow Coles in Boise. He moved with his family to La Grande where he graduated from La Grande High School. He worked as a carpenter and later moved to Wenatchee, Wash. John S. Olin, 62, Entiat, a native of Wenatchee and a resident of the Entiat area for the past 44 years, died in a Wenatchee hospital Monday morning [January 3, 1971]. Mrs. Susan Cooke Olin, 39, well-known resident of Entiat, died at a local hospital Thursday [May 11, 1949] following an extended illness. Mrs. Olin was born at Malaga on February 22, 1910 where she resided until moving to Entiat with her family as a little girl. She attended Entiat schools and grew to young womanhood at Entiat, and was united in marriage to John Olin, February 6, 1929. She had since made her home there.
