John M. Storey, aged 81, passed away on December 1, 1969, in Wenatchee after a brief illness. A native of Washington, he spent much of his early life in the Renton-Seattle area. During World War II, he served as a boilermaker and later worked as a meat cutter before relocating to Entiat in 1966. He married Maude Ingersoll in 1968. He is survived by his wife, several stepchildren, siblings, and numerous step-grandchildren. Services are provided by Jones Jones Funeral Home.
Naomi June Crisp Colson, aged 78, passed away on June 15, 2005, in Weiser, Idaho, and was a former resident of Baker County, Oregon. Born on February 4, 1927, in Parma, Idaho, she was married to Benjamin E. Colson in Baker City on March 30, 1947. Naomi was active in her community and church, serving in various leadership roles. She is survived by her husband, children, siblings, and grandchildren. Her memorial service will be held at the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Payette, Idaho.
Duane Irwin “Pete” Peterson, 72, a former resident of Halfway, Oregon, passed away on February 5, 2005. Born on January 19, 1933, he had a diverse life, serving in the Navy and working for the U.S. Forest Service and the railroad. He was married twice and is survived by his wife Jo and several children, grandchildren, and relatives. A Celebration of Life service will take place on February 12, 2005, at Hazen and Jaeger Valley Funeral Home in Spokane Valley.
Curtis Alan Coles, 47, passed away on November 17, 2000, in Wenatchee, Washington. Born on January 15, 1953, in Boise, he grew up in La Grande, where he graduated high school and worked as a carpenter. A memorial service was held at Grandview Cemetery, officiated by Pastor Beuford Belcher. Coles is survived by his brothers, his companion Fern Dronen, and other relatives. He was predeceased by his parents, William J. and Norma I. Snow Coles. Memorial contributions can be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
