Olin, John Staples – Obituary

John S. Olin, 62, Entiat, a native of Wenatchee and a resident of the Entiat area for the past 44 years, died in a Wenatchee hospital Monday morning [January 3, 1971].

Born in Wenatchee February 16, 1908, he attended Whitman School and Wenatchee High School. He moved to the Entiat area in 1927 and was an orchardist there.

Surviving are his widow, Rexene; his mother, Mrs. Nettie J. Olin, Entiat; two sons, Donald W. Olin, Entiat, and James Dossey, Wapato [stepson]; three daughters, Mrs. Barbara Jane Leming, Redmond, Mrs. Beverly Brunet, Sylmar, Calif., and Barbara Lynn Dossey [stepdaughter], Bellevue; one brother, Earl Olin, Yakima; two sisters, Mrs. [May] Roy Loffelbein, Clarkston, and Mrs. [Edna] Albert Haase, Walla Walla, and 13 grandchildren.

Services are announced by the Jones & Jones Funeral Home. [Interment in Wenatchee Cemetery]
