Mrs. Babb grew up in the Wallowa, Vincent and Rondowea areas and graduated from Lostine High School. She worked for M. Crow and Company in Lostine for a time. Ivanhoe, prominent Eastern Oregon educator and resident of LaGrande for many years, passed away in Portland at the St. Vincent’s hospital, Friday of last week.
