Biographical Sketch of Ulysses L. Marvin
Ulysses L. Marvin, born on March 14, 1839, in Stow, Ohio, was an accomplished attorney and judge. He was educated in public schools and received an honorary LL.D. from Kenyon College. Marvin served in the Civil War, achieving the rank of Major by brevet. His judicial career spanned several courts in Ohio, including the Probate Court and Common Pleas Court. He was involved in various legal and community organizations and married twice, with two sons surviving him. He passed away on November 1, 1898.
