Dallas Dean, 81, of Baker City, passed away on August 26 at his home. Born on July 1, 1925, he graduated from Union High School and served in the Army during World War II. He worked in various businesses, owning a Shell service station before retiring in 1990. After marrying Charlene Lee Moffit in 1990, they enjoyed winters in California before settling in La Grande and later returning to Baker City. He is survived by his wife, son, daughter, stepson, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Tucori, Peter Joseph – Obituary

Peter Joseph Tucori II, 59, of Portland, passed away on July 24 after a long battle with cancer. Born on June 4, 1947, in Baker, he grew up in Medical Springs and graduated from La Grande High School in 1964. A Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, he later became a barber, opening shops in Lake Oswego with his brother Frank. He is remembered for his partnership with Eileen Seabold and is survived by his brother and nephew. No service was held as per his wishes.

Wright; a son, John Wesley; a daughter, Eunice W. Dryden; a brother, Frank; and two sisters, Mrs. Harry Davis and Mrs. Eva Fraser. Funeral services took place with Rev. O. L. Kendall officiating, and he will be buried in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
