Kirkland, Aaron – Obituary
Aaron Kirkland, an old settler of the Upper Skokomish Valley, was found in a paralyzed state in his home on July 20, 1910, and passed away shortly after. Born in 1850 in Clifton to Moses Kirkland, one of Mason County’s early settlers, he lived a solitary life, preferring trapping to farming. He is survived by his brother, Jesse, with other family members having passed away. His funeral is anticipated to be held in Shelton on the following Friday.
