Carolyn Kay Owens, 89, passed away on April 17 in Madras after a brief illness. A graveside service was held at Union Cemetery. Born on May 18, 1917, in Coos Bay, she married Russell Kullman in 1937 and C. H. Slim Coats in 1942. During World War II, she worked in retail sales and aircraft drafting. She is survived by her son Bill Kullman, two granddaughters, two grandsons, and two great-grandsons. Arrangements were managed by Loveland Funeral Chapel.
