U. S. Findley, an 82-year-old retired farmer from Macomb, passed away on February 26 at his daughter’s residence. He was a lifelong resident of Wright County, Missouri. Findley is survived by his wife, Linda, and several siblings, including Mary Deaver of California and W. D. Findley of Joplin. He was laid to rest at Ashley Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.

The Findleys had been married for 57 years, and they were honored with a double funeral.

Findley, James Harvey – Obituary

He married Minnie Coday in 1906, with whom he had four children, although one son died in infancy. Harrison McKinley Babb, 68, originally from Macomb, MO, passed away on April 19, 1959, in a Visalia hospital. A retired dairy rancher, he lived in Exeter and Tulare before settling in Visalia nine years ago. He is survived by his wife, Mary Susan, two sons, an adopted son, three daughters, three brothers, two sisters, and 16 grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday at Hadley Funeral Chapel in Exeter, followed by burial at Exeter Cemetery.
