Harrison McKinley Babb, 68, Visalia, former resident of Tulare, died last night [April 19, 1959] in a Visalia hospital. He was a native of Macomb, MO. Babb moved to Exeter in 1929 and later moved to Tulare. He had lived in Visalia for the past nine years and was a retired dairy rancher.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mary Susan Babb, Visalia; two sons, Harry T. Babb, Tulare, and James H. Babb, Visalia; an adopted son Fred L. Miller, Visalia; three daughters, Mrs. Lois E. McLaughlin, Visalia; Mrs. Eunice K. Wilshire, Exeter, and Mrs. Juanita M. Flynn, Loomis; three brothers, Bishop Babb, Tulare; Virgil Babb, Long Beach, and George Babb, Myrtle Creek, Ore.; two sisters, Mrs. Birdie J. Short and Mrs. Sarah Dewey, both of Mansfield, MO., and 16 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, at 10:30 a.m. in the Hadley Funeral Chapel, Exeter, with the Rev. R. Meredith Stevens officiating, and burial will follow in Exeter Cemetery.
