Dr. Albert L. Beahan, born on April 13, 1855, in Watkins, New York, achieved prominence as a physician in Canandaigua, where he founded the Canandaigua Hospital of Physicians and Surgeons in 1898. A graduate of Bellevue Hospital Medical College, he initially practiced in Reading Center before pursuing further studies in New York City. His dedication to alleviating human suffering garnered respect from both citizens and colleagues. Married to Theodora Crosby in 1889, he remains actively engaged in community affairs without children.
