Hazel Jane Fleet, 90, died March 6, 2005 in La Grande. She was born to Ralph and Lenora Barton on Oct. 26, 1914 in Joseph. Mrs. Fleet spent her first winter in Hells Canyon at Three Creeks at the old Frank Hiltsley Homestead until her family home was built on Johnson Bar.
