Merrell Frank Conley, Route 1 Box 236, Cove, died Friday at Grande Ronde Hospital. He was 78. Mr. Conley was born on Oct. 25, 1906, to Joe Frank and Sarah (Gray) Conley at Cove. On May 16, 1940 he married Isabel Heger. She died on June 10, 1973. On Aug. 9, 1975, he married Ruth Holt Lacer at La Grande.
