Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Evenson Chapel for Jake Indermuhle, 74, of Rt. 2, who died at his home Saturday [July 25, 1964]. Rev. C. M. Strong will officiate and burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery. Mr. Indermuhle was born Oct. 28, 1889 in Ellensburg and married Luella Van Doren, Dec. 4, 1914 at Twin Falls, Ida. They came to Ellensburg from the Boise Valley in 1937 and farmed in the Denmark District until 1961 when they moved to their present home at the south edge of Kittitas. McEwen, Ernie D. – Obituary

McEwen Dies from Crash. Ernie D. McEwen, 55, died at Ellensburg General Hospital at (paper damaged) today [July 12, 1981], without recovering consciousness, after suffering fatal injuries in a collision of his pickup truck with a logging truck early Wednesday. The hospital yesterday after-noon reported McEwen’s injuries of a basal skull fracture, punctured lung and seven broken ribs. McEwen’s death is the seventh from traffic accidents in Kittitas County this year and the (paper damaged) from accidents occurring off a (paper damaged) highway. Mrs. Eliza Ann Fetters, 78, died this morning [January 1, 1918] at 8:30 o’clock at her home. Mrs. Fetters was born in Illinois and came to Kittitas County in 1883, having lived here ever since. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Estella M. Elliott of Seattle and Mrs. Orland Thorp, of Twin Falls, Idaho; five sons, Carl B., Horatio S., Freeman, Joe and Ernest Fetters. Mrs. Susan Cooke Olin, 39, well-known resident of Entiat, died at a local hospital Thursday [May 11, 1949] following an extended illness. Mrs. Olin was born at Malaga on February 22, 1910 where she resided until moving to Entiat with her family as a little girl. She attended Entiat schools and grew to young womanhood at Entiat, and was united in marriage to John Olin, February 6, 1929. She had since made her home there. Her death following that of her husband, Elmer E. Stickney, by a little more than a month, Mrs. May Stickney, 70- year-old Kittitas County pioneer, passed away at her home here last night [July 5, 1934] following a lingering illness. Mr. Stickney died on May 29. Mrs. Stickney was born February 10, 1864, at Oregon City, Oregon, and came to the Kittitas Valley in 1892. May 2 of that year she was married to Mr. Stickney. C. C. Prater, 57, life-long Kittitas Valley resident and prominent Westside farmer, died here last night at the home of his sister, Mrs. Minnie Wangeman, after an illness of 10 weeks. Mrs. Audrey L. Sisk, daughter of a pioneer valley resident died last night at the Valley General Hospital after being hospitalized 13 days. She was born April 1, 1882 in Olympia and came here in 1898 with her father Thomas Swan who crossed Snoqualmie Pass by horse-drawn wagon. The family homesteaded the ranch in the Reecer Creek area which is now the Dunbar-Marriott ranch. She was married to Charles T.
