Had he lived until next Sunday, he would have been 90 years old. Born at Hamburg, Germany, April 20, 1857, he came to the United States when he was 27 years old and to Washington State in 1888. Long-time Ellensburg resident Anna K. Milns died early Wednesday at a local rest home.She was 89. Born November 26, 1880 at St. James, Minn., she came to the Ellensburg area with her family when she was 2. In 1909 she was marred to Martin Wippel. He died in 1915. Harvey Huss died at his home in the Fairview District Tuesday [January 27, 1920] at the advanced age of 80 years. Swearingen, 43, former Ellensburg resident, died Friday in a Tacoma Hospital from injuries received earlier last week in an accident at the Seattle-Tacoma shipyards where he was employed as a rigger. Plant officials reported that he was crushed while unloading steel plates when he slacked off on a safety line too soon and the plates tipped over on him.
