Joseph, Oregon Thora Jean Cornwell, 78, of Joseph, died at the Wallowa Valley Care Center in Enterprise Sun Dec. 12. She was born in 1926 in St. Paul Minnesota to Oliver and Caroline Castle. Mrs. Cornwell has been married to Jack Cornwell for 41 years. During which time she worked in a school cafeteria, moving from Vancouver, Wash to Wallowa Lake. She enjoyed sewing and traveling with her husband. Joseph, Wallowa County, Oregon Edith Estella Holst, 79yrs of age and a pioneer resident of Joseph passed away at Joseph on March 23, 1954. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Joseph, Wallowa County, Oregon Child Passes Away Marvin Rynearson, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Lemuel Rynearson, died at Doernbecker hospital in Portland Monday, Jan. 29, 1940. The parents went with the baby to Portland a couple of days earlier in the hope of finding treatment to meet the needs of the child. They arrived back in Joseph yesterday for funeral and burial services. The baby was born at Joseph March 5, 1939, and was survived by its parents and one sister.
