Shaw, Albert E. – Obituary
Albert E. “Shorty” Shaw, a prominent Westside farmer and former owner of the Consolidated Creamery, passed away at 68 on July 18, 1931, following an unexpected post-operative complication from a leg amputation. Born in Nova Scotia in 1863, he moved to Ellensburg in 1883 and was active in local agriculture and dairy cooperatives for decades. Shaw is survived by his widow, Eva, their son J. A. Shaw, and several siblings. His contributions to the community and cooperative agriculture were significant throughout his life.
