Mrs. Andrew Forbes passed away at the Enterprise hospital yesterday afternoon, Wednesday, Feb. 19, 1936. She had come from the family home at Flora a few days before an operation and her heart was not strong enough to carry her thru. Strength ebbed steadily until the end came. Funeral services will be held at the Methodist church in Flora tomorrow afternoon and burial will be beside her parents in the Flora cemetery. R. A. Bork Dies Aged Nearly 93 North End Resident Born In Germany and Came To County In 1891. Rudolph A. Charles O. Forthman died May 12, 2007, at the Jonathan M. Wainwright Veterans Administration Medical Center in Walla Walla, Wash. He was 85. Mr. Forthman was born in a log house April 21, 1922, in Flora to William T. and Margery M. Ager Forthman. In 1940 he went to National Youth Association School in Pendleton for mechanics in heavy equipment and truck driving. In 1943 he attended five weeks of school for heavy equipment and truck driving. Enterprise, Wallowa county, Oregon Mrs. Neva May Botts 66, was pronounced dead at St. Joseph’s Hospital after suffering a heart attack outside the Lewiston Eagles Hall at 1304 Main St. She had just emerged from the lodge hall with Mr. and Mrs. Chester Bull when she slumped to the sidewalk. Joseph Sturm Crash Victim Paradise, Oregon Joseph Sturm of Flora died last Tuesday, December 24, after the car in which he was riding left the road and plunged into Camas creek near Ukiah Lake Monday.
