Lostine resident, Rena Bork, died Oct 4, 1987 at her home. She was 95. Rena was born at Anatone, Wash., on Sept. 24, 1892, the daughter of David Jacob and Mary Melvina Cross Miller. She lived most of her girlhood on the Grande Ronde River, just a short distance from the Oasis. Her parents farmed a ranch on Buford Ridge. From that marriage there are three children: Sandra Tucker (Irvin), Kathleen Bush (Jim) and Chris Duggan (Koni Murrill).
