The funeral for Daphne Mabel (Molstrom) Schwenn will begin 2 p.m. Friday at Folsom-Bishop Funeral Chapel in Pendleton, with vault interment at Olney Cemetery. Mrs. Schwenn, 82, formerly of Pendleton and Athena, died Monday, Dec. 15, 1986, at the Federal Way Convalescent Center in Federal Way, Wash. She was a resident of Greenlake, Wash. Born in Pendleton, May 27, 1904, she was the daughter of Elsie Lee (Bowman) and Abe Molstrom. Scott, Vera Hatten Mrs. – Obituary

Vera Hatten Scott, 93, died June 18, 2007, at Federal Way, Wash. She was born on March 15, 1914, to Alvin E. and Mary E. Hatten of Aberdeen, S.D. She was a founding member of the first Girl Scout troop in Aberdeen, eventually earning the Girl Scout equivalent of Eagle Scout. After receiving her teaching certificate from Northern State Teachers College she taught in rural South Dakota. She married Russell P. Scott on Dec. 25, 1937. They moved to Baker City in 1952.
