La Grande, Union County, Oregon Warren C. “Jiggs” Laird, 77, La Grande, died Thursday, Nov. 7, 1991, at his home. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Daniels Valley Funeral Chapel under the direction of La Grande Masonic Lodge No. 41. Mr. Laird was born on Dec. 22, 1913, in Fairfield, Idaho, to Lewis and Luella (Hartman) Laird. His family moved to Cove from Fairfield in 1917. IN 1933 he graduated from Cove High School. Enterprise, Oregon Wayne Clark died of natural causes at a care facility in Star, Idaho, on May 31, 2006. He was 96. Mr. Clark was born on Sept. 23, 1909 on a homestead ranch in Hill City, Idaho, to Frank and Viola Clark. He was one of seven children. He went to high school in Carey, Idaho, after the Clark family moved to a ranch outside of Picabo, Idaho. Enterprise, Oregon Peggy Marie Exon Allen, 66, of Enterprise died Sept. 19 after a short illness. A graveside service will begin at 2 p.m. Friday Sept. 23 at the Hagerman Cemetery in Hagerman, Idaho.
