Roland Howard “Rollie” Wright, 53, of Baker City, died March 31, 2006, at Boise. His funeral will be at 12:15 p.m. Thursday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church at Bend. Cremation was done by Nampa Funeral Home at Nampa, Idaho. Rollie served in the U.S. Army. He was a retired welder and enjoyed fishing in Eastern Oregon. Survivors include his companion of 10 years, Diana Kellum of Baker City; daughters, Ronni A. Herrold and Sally M. Marion Thomas “Tom” Givens, 76, of Baker City, died peacefully on June 4, 2009, in Boise after a long illness. His graveside services will be Saturday, June 27 at 2 p.m. at Mount Hope Cemetery. Tom was born Dec. 19, 1932, to Cora and Walter Givens in Bridgeport. Tom graduated from Baker High School in 1950. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army. He served during the Korean War and was honorably discharged in 1954 as a sergeant. Mrs. Nevada Wood Stricken By Death Mrs. Nevada Wood, aged 70, resident of Baker county intermittently for more than 30 years, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W.H.
