Both Passed Away Death of Two Aged Women, Well Known in Union County Mrs. Mary E. Hamilton, the mother of Sheriff Hamilton, died suddenly at her residence in Baker county on the morning of January 1. Two days following the death of Mrs. Hamilton, her sister Mrs. Nancy Warrenstaff, died at her home in La Grande after a brief illness and was buried in the Kellogg cemetery at that town.
