Cropper, Sarah Jane Collins Henderson – Obituary

Mrs. Sarah Cropper, wife of Robert Cropper, died Wednesday night [September 1, 1915] at eight o’clock at her home eight miles south of here. She was fifty-one years old. Death was caused by dropsy. Mrs. Cropper had been in ill health for the past four years, and had been confined to her bed for the past six weeks.

She was married December 24, 1893. For a number of years she has been a member of the Pleasant Grove Christian church, which is near her home.

She leaves her husband, four brothers, Will and Robert Collins, of Howard county; Frank and Richard Collins of Hendricks township, this county; three sisters, Mrs. Stephen Runyon, of Hendricks township; Mrs. Ed. Smith, of Fairland, and Mrs. Charles Hey, of Noble township. Her aged mother, Mrs. Leah Collins, also survives.

The funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at two o’clock in the Pleasant Grove Christian Church, the Rev. W. E. Carroll, pastor of the Christian church of this city, officiating. Burial will be made in Forest Hill Cemetery.
