Hereford Woman Called By Death
Mrs. Bryon Ruddell of Hereford died this morning at St. Elizabeth hospital soon after the birth of baby girl, who survives her.
The deceased, who before her marriage was Nellie E. Martin, was born June 14, 1891 at Deerfield, Missouri, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Martin of the Pocahontas community. The Martins came to Baker in 1906, remaining until 1910, when they moved to Montana and Idaho, returning to this county in 1924.
Nellie was married to Byron Ruddell January 13, 1916. Beside her parents and her husband, she is survived by another child, Clarence, aged 8, and a brother Lloyd L. Martin of The Dalles. Mrs Ruddell was an active member of the Hereford grange.
Funeral arrangements will be made as soon as word is received from the brother in The Dalles. The body is at the West parlors.
