At an election held this day, January 18th, 1862, for Captain and Lieutenants for the 317th District G. M., the following persons voted, to viz.:

1- I. N. Rawlins
2- Curtis Peacock
3- D. W. Southerland
4- J. C. Thompson
5- G. G. Thompson
6- A. B. Lipter
7- B. R. Peacock
8- D. N. Walker
9- James Taylor
10- J. D. Rozar
11- J. A. Peacock
12- Dock Arnold

Tally sheet kept in this day’s election held in 317th District G. M. for Captain and three Lieutenants.

For Captain:
John C. Walker – 11 Votes For Lieutenants:
1st Thomas J. Baker – 11 Votes
2nd James E. Scarborough – 11 Votes
3rd M. P. Giddens  – 10 Votes
Georgia, Pulaski County:

We the undersigned two justice Peace and one freeholder, certify that we presided as commissioners at the above named Election, being first sworn according to Statute and that the above is an exhibit of the Election held as aforesaid. Jany. the 18th, 1862.
