Elgin, Union County, Oregon Crawford  Cora, the 12- year old daughter of Mrs. Sarah Crawford died in this city May 10, 1905. Several weeks ago the little girl underwent an operation for appendicitis and it was thought a few days after the operation that she would enjoy a complete recovery but the past few days she began growing weaker and the end came Wednesday night. Medical Springs, Union County, Oregon Sim Cox, for 20 years a resident of this vicinity, died Monday night near Medical Springs following a heart attack to which he had been subject for many years. Mr. Cox had visited at the Louis Flake home Friday evening and was apparently in good health but Saturday morning he complained of feeling ill and never left the bed.
