Aged Pioneer Passes This Life Last Wednesday Mrs. Jane Wilson, aged 84 years, died at the Grande Ronde hospital in La Grande Wednesday morning. death was due to a complication of diseases induced by inflammatory rheumatism from which she had suffered for many years. Thomas Wilkinson died at his home in High Valley, Thursday, March 23, 1922, age 85 years and 27 days. He was born in Peoria County, Illinois, January 24, 1837. His early life was spent in Illinois, Missouri and Nebraska. He crossed the plains to Oregon in 1864. Starting from Nebraska, May 9, and arriving in Oregon, October 9. He was married to Lydia A.
