Vickie Daughtrey, 63, of Albuquerque, N.M., a former Baker City resident, died Oct. 6, 2005.
Her memorial service was Monday at French Mortuary in Albuquerque. Interment will be later next to her husband at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
Vickie was a native Oregonian. She grew up in Baker City and was a 1960 Baker High School graduate. She had plans of returning to the state. She was completing her master’s degree in Family Studies at the University of New Mexico.
Survivors include her son, Curtis Stanley and his wife, Thelma; stepsons, Jim and Wade; stepdaughter, Sharon “Amber;” six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a sister, Dawn Hunter; a brother, Gordon Nash; and many other loving family members, including a special niece, Jennifer Torres.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norlan Daughtrey, who died in July 2005; and parents, Gordon and LaRecie Nash.
