Mrs. Lucinda Hoff Passes away Today
Mother of City Health Officer Succumbs After Short Illness-Leaves Husband and Four Children
Mrs. Lucinda Huff, wife of H. M. Huff, died at her home on Seventh and Campbell streets at 1:30 o’clock today. She had been confined to her bed for only a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Huff have been residents of Baker for the past eight years.
Mrs. Huff was born December 1, 1830, in Little Sioux, Iowa. She was past 88 years of age, but remained vigorous and energetic until only a few days before her death.
Deceased leaves beside her husband, three sons and one daughter. They are Dr. J.W. Huff, city health officer of Baker; T.C. Huff of Baker, B.R. Huff of Payette, Idaho, and Mrs. M.T. Weston of this city. The remains will be taken to her old home in Iowa for burial tomorrow.
