Lostine, Wallowa County, Oregon
Keith Elsberry, six-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. George Elsberry, died at Parma, Idaho, Wednesday, July 10, of spotted fever. He was a grandchild of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Hedges, former residents of Lostine.
The Elsberry family had been camping in the woods near Parma, when the child was bitten by the tick. He did not respond to medical treatment. Funeral services were held Friday, July 12, at Parma.
