Yeske, Golden – Obituary

Yeske, James Golden – 57, of Roseburg, passed away October 13, 1984.

He was born October 19, 1926, in La Grande, Oregon. On October 9, 1948, in Portland, Oregon, he married his wife Beverly and they lived in the Roseburg area since the early 1950s.

Golden had been a teacher in the Roseburg area Elementary schools for many years and a member of the First Christian Church here in Roseburg. He was the President of the Umpqua Coin Club.

Survivors include his wife, Beverly Yeske of Roseburg; 1 son, Shaun Yeske of Pocatello, Idaho; his mother, Faye Yeske, his brother, Richard Yeske and his sister, June Folson, all of La Grande, Oregon; numerous nieces and nephews and many close friends.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 18, 1984, at 11 A. M. at the First Christian Church of Roseburg, on the corner of Douglas and Kane Streets with Pastor Linton Elwell officiating. Interment to follow at the Roseburg Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers contributions have been requested to be made to the Oregon Heart Association. These may be left at the service or at Wilson’s Chapel Of The Roses Funeral Home who are in charge of arrangements.
