Fred Yeske, 72, 1904 Cedar St., died Wednesday at Grande Ronde Hospital. Yeske was born September 13, 1901 in Portland. He moved to La Grande in 1922 to work for the Union Pacific Railroad Co. He married Faye Golden on July 16, 1924. In 1925 he worked for a short time for he Bowman Hicks Lumber Co., in Maxville and then returned to La Grande to work a the M. J. La Grande, Oregon Donald A. Yeske, 77, of Lebanon and formerly of La Grande, died June 29 at Salem Hospital. A celebration of life will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the family home, 38811 Collins Lane, Lebanon. Mr. Yeske was born Aug. 17, 1928, to Herman E. and Frieda V. Zweifel Yeske in La Grande. Yeske, Golden – Obituary

Yeske, James Golden – 57, of Roseburg, passed away October 13, 1984. He was born October 19, 1926, in La Grande, Oregon. On October 9, 1948, in Portland, Oregon, he married his wife Beverly and they lived in the Roseburg area since the early 1950s. Golden had been a teacher in the Roseburg area Elementary schools for many years and a member of the First Christian Church here in Roseburg. He was the President of the Umpqua Coin Club.
