Myrtis Thomas, 80, a former Baker City resident, died May 20, 2007, at Puyallup, Wash. There was a private family service. She was born on Aug. 2, 1928, at Jones County, Ga. She was the former wife of Eddie Thomas Sr. and the mother of 11 children who live throughout the United States. She had 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
