Skoton Tribe
The Skoton Indians, possibly associated with the Chasta tribe, inhabited areas near the Rogue River in Oregon. Historical records indicate they may be linked to the Chastacosta or Sestikustun groups. In 1875, their population was recorded as 36 individuals on the Grande Ronde reservation and 166 on the Siletz reservation.
