Albert J. Ferree, 82, died Jan. 6, 2007, at Arlington, Wash. His private graveside service was Jan. 13 at Seattle, Wash. Albert was born at Union April 5, 1924, to George and Anna Ferree. He was raised in Baker City where he attended schools. Albert was just 17 when he enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He was sent to San Diego for boot camp for eight weeks and as he finished, Pearl Harbor was attacked.
