Wippel, Simon P. – Obituary
Simon P. Wippel, a distinguished resident of Ellensburg and a longstanding farmer in the Kittitas Valley, passed away at his home on January 10, 1949, at the age of 77. Originally from Ripley County, Indiana, he had lived in the region for 57 years. Wippel is survived by two daughters, three sons, a brother, five sisters, and one grandchild. His funeral was held at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
