Wallantine

Christian Wallantine, born on October 21, 1841, in Denmark, immigrated with his family to Utah in 1853-54. They faced significant hardships during their journey. Wallantine later became a prominent farmer in Paris, Idaho, where he established the first frame house in Bear Lake Valley. A dedicated member of the Democratic Party, he held various public offices, including Idaho legislator, and was known for his integrity and commitment to community welfare. He and his wife, Elizabeth, had eleven children, with nine living.
