JOHN W. TUTT, merchant and farmer, was born November 23, 1846, in Todd County, Ky., where he has resided all his life. His father, James F. Tutt, was born in 1814, in Woodford County, this State, and is still living. He is the son of James L., born 1777, and he the son of Lewis, an Englishman, who was the grandfather of Gov. John M.
