Mabel G. Turnbow of Joseph, who had been ill for the past four months, passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 1975 at the Rouge Valley Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient 19 days. She was born November 4, 1902 at Elgin, the daughter of Samuel L. and Ella Knight, and had lived in Wallowa County most of her life. On January 22, 1927 she was married at Enterprise to John E. Joseph, Wallowa County, Oregon Charles E. Turnbow Succumbs at Joseph Charles E. Turnbow passed away yesterday, Dec. 29, 1937, in Joseph. He had been in very poor health for years, although his age was only 62 years, five months and 17 days.
