Trullinger

J.C. Trullinger, a prominent figure in Oregon’s development, has engaged in a wide array of successful enterprises. He owns the West Shore sawmills and significant timberland, along with a tide-land farm that supports his operations. His career began with a perilous journey to Oregon in 1848, leading to various ventures including warehousing and establishing mills. Trullinger’s inventiveness earned him several patents. He has always been active in community development and politics, working alongside his wife, Hanna Boyles, whom he married in 1853.
