Biography of Rev. Marvin Sisco

Rev. Marvin Sisco, originally from Vermont, served as a minister in the Methodist Episcopal Church across various towns in Central New York. He married Melissa Manfling and had several children, including Charles Marcellus. Charles, born in 1845, enlisted in the Vermont Regiment during the Civil War, where he was wounded and had his leg amputated. Later, he became a successful harness maker and engaged in local politics, serving in various public roles, including postmaster. He married Lottie A. Matherson Hulbert, and they had a daughter, Maude.
