Lois L. Sample, born April 29, 1922, in Wallowa County, Oregon, passed away on July 9, 1987, at the age of 65. Following her wishes, no funeral services were held. A graduate of Enterprise High School, she worked as a business secretary in Portland after attending the National Youth Business College. Lois married Harvey Sample in 1947 and later moved to Milton-Freewater. She is survived by her husband, two children, her parents, two brothers, and three grandchildren.
