The Lincoln County New Mexico online archives contains pdf’s of all remaining copies of the El Farol Newspaper of Capitan NM, but doesn’t have an index to the newspaper. C. W. Barnum, an active member of AHGP, and state coordinator for the New Mexico AHGP recently invested his time and energy into providing an every person index to the various extant issues. Biography of George A. Pauly

George A. Pauly, born on May 30, 1881, in St. Louis, has established a prominent reputation in commercial and financial sectors. The eldest son of Gerhard A. and Lina Pauly, immigrants from Germany, he began his career at the family-owned G. A. Pauly Hardware Company, eventually becoming vice president. Pauly also served as the youngest bank president in Missouri and is active in real estate. Married to Georgia Richards in 1920, he has one son and is involved in various civic and fraternal organizations.
