Hilda Ellen Overton, 83, of Baker City, died July 30, 2008, at St. Elizabeth Health Services. At her request, there will be no public service. Hilda was born on May 10, 1925, at Washburn, N.D., to Andrew and Louise Pfiefle Schacher, who had immigrated from Germany. She was the third of 10 children.
