Biography of Colonel Edward Kittilsen
Colonel Edward Kittilsen, born in Moline in 1854 to Norwegian and Swedish immigrants, rose from his early career in business to serve the community as chief of police for over twenty-three years before becoming sheriff of Rock Island County in 1906.
