Jeannotte

Rev. Charles Henry Jeannotte, born on November 12, 1854, in Beloeil, Quebec, dedicated over fifty years to the Roman Catholic Church. His pastoral journey began with ordination in 1877 and included notable roles in Quebec before he moved to the United States in 1887. Jeannotte served several parishes, notably St. Joseph’s in Shelburne Falls and Fitchburg, before becoming the beloved pastor of Notre Dame of the Sacred Heart Church in North Adams in 1894. His legacy includes the establishment of a school and lasting community respect.
